Saturdays are for fun, friends and the outdoors… and what better way to enjoy the waning moments of summer by grabbing some friends and heading to the lake to enjoy the outdoors. A couple weeks ago, my friend Steve and I did just that! We grabbed his windsurfing equipment and headed out to Lake Arcadia to ride the wind.

As you can clearly see, I am not a professional windsurfer, in fact these pics are the only documentation proving that I actually got up on the board. It was real difficult. Most of my time was spent paddling the board from the shore and trying to stand up and then falling in the water. Nonetheless, it was a fun day and I thoroughly enjoyed learning how to windsurf, even though I wasn’t speeding across the water by the end of the day it was a success because I tried something I had never done before.
